We're pleased to offer the following services at Carbon County Veterinary Hospital:
We operate primarily by appointment. Please call our office at 307-324-5635 to speak to one of our caring staff members to make arrangements to have your pet examined by one of our veterinarians. In the mornings we typically perform surgical and diagnostic procedures. In the afternoons, we schedule appointments. We provide home visits for our clients and patients with special circumstances. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. We respect your time and will make every effort to see pets promptly at their scheduled times.
Walk-ins are welcome with the understanding that they may not be able to see them right away, but we will work them in quickly, time permitting.
Emergencies will always take priority. This is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable.
One of our veterinarians is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to your emergency needs. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet or large animal, please call us at 307-324-5635 or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
If an emergency occurs after hours, your call will be forwarded to the veterinarian on-call. If you get the veterinarian's voice mail, please leave a message so that he/she can return your call and direct you on the best course of action to solve your pet's immediate medical need.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our reception staff will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A "drop-off" means that you could bring your pet at a time that is convenient for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. You must call ahead to use this service. Usually we will ask you to drop off in the morning so our veterinarians can examine the patient in-between surgeries or treatment of our admitted patients. When your pet has been seen, a veterinarian will call you and discuss the diagnosis and treatment plan, if needed.
Carbon County Veterinary Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
